Any member of the populace of Ansteorra may use the populace ensign. Common uses include on fighting tabards and at the hoist of silk standards. Do not omit the bordure when using the populace ensign.

The ensign has also been registered for use as a standard augmentation. Those who have been awarded an augmentation of the arms by the Crown of Ansteorra may choose to use this design when registering their augmentation.

If you are creating new regalia for the Crown (thrones, kneeling pillows, dishware, etc.) please use these devices. Any items that use these devices remain the property of the offices of the King and Queen. If you want to create gifts for the King and Queen that will remain their personal property after they step down, use their personal devices.

Minor artistic variations on these designs are permitted, but all of the heraldic elements must stay the same (do not remove the wreath, the crown, the flame, etc.)
